My Favorite Corset

This corset I made for myself. It's a hybrid of the two styles I work with the most often.

The traditional six panel Victorian pattern was modified to an over-bust shape, then I boned it with spiral bones on curved lines.

To finish it off, I decorated the boning channel with two rows of grommets and lacing.

Classic Black Leather

This corset speaks for itself. How can you go wrong with a black leather corset?

Cupped style

This is a six panel Victorian Corset with a modified cup.

We used a translucent lace overlay on blue satin.

Beautiful Goth

This is a black Moire Satin Corset with a lace trim. This is a traditional six panel Victorian style, modified to cover the bust. She wore this over a black lace tired skirt.

The added Rose was a bonus!

Green damask

Here is a lovely green brocade corset over the camisole and petticoat in white batiste. This is a DD corset supported with extra steel spiral bones through the bust.

Just because a woman has generous breasts, does not mean she has generous hips!

Red Quilting Cotton

My local quilter's supply store has a wondrous array of high quality beautiful cottons. This traditional Victorian pattern has been modified to cover the bust, and embellished with lace.

Embossed Silk

This is a two panel style with curved spiral bones. This pattern gives a more relaxed fit than the six panel

Chinese Brocade

Another example of the two panel style of corset, this time in Chinese brocade, one of my favorite fabrics to work with!

Here we highlighted the boning channel with gold thread to pick up the curved line. Very flattering.
