Bellydance Skirts and Pants

Belly Dance skirts are usually long and flowing. Fit to be Tied offers single circle, double circle, tiered, and split skirts.

Harem Pants can be separate or built into the skirt.

Fringe skirts and panel skirts are worn over other skirts or harem pants.

The Entari is also worn over a skirt or pants.

Layered Dancing Skirts

This dance set includes a coloured full circle skirt in polyester chiffon under a black chiffon split skirt.

The back portion of the black over skirt is a full circle ending at the front hip points. There is a two inch gap at each hip and the front panel is another half circle.

This set moves beautifully and is a real pleasure to dance in.

The layered skirt is shown here with a black velour Choli and matching dancing veil.

Ten Yard Tiered Skirt

Most of the Ten Yard Skirt patterns that I've tried yield a skirt that is very heavy and quite bulky around the hips. Personally I don't like looking like a barrel!

This is two skirts layered one on the other. The four tiers allow for a slimmer profile at the hips, and less weight at the hem. It still has all the swish and loft that you would get with the other varieties.

The white skirt underneath is actually a fifteen yard skirt!

Circle Skirt

This is a single circle skirt of black rayon with a double cotton trim border. I've used a drawstring for the waistband as I find elastics either let go and slip down, or are too tight to begin with!

This skirt is lovely and elegant for an evening out.

Bellydance costumes come in several pieces:

Corset Belt

Fringe Belt

Panel skirt to match the belt in Chinese brocade

Black Chiffon Harem pants.

This is my version of the "Ten Yard Skirt".
